Rite of Passage Western Region Baseball Teams
Set Bragging Rights

For the 5th Straight year, Rite of Passage Western Region Baseball teams have met in the spirit of pride and good sportsmanship, to establish a "Western Region" Championship. Just as it did in football, with the Rams Bowl, wrestling, and Basketball, at the Winter Games, Silver State Academy claimed the Baseball Championship to cap of a sweep of Western Region Crowns. Silver State Academy won the first game 7-3, and the second 11-7 to sweep the annual double header. Silver State Academy coach Paul Huston led the Nevada Rams to victory. The SSA Culinary department provided a traditional baseball BBQ of hot dogs, potato salad and apple pie following the event. Sierra Ridge provided the victory celebration cake for all.
